real classy... love the tapas option... went with the seafood tower and charcuterie board... both really good ...peach sangria was ooookkkkk ...a little thick. tasted like peach schnapps... overall the service was really good... very attentive but not overbearing ...definitely coming back soon
Lots of great starters (tapas). We loved the lamb chops - tender and tasty. The fried machengo cheese dipped in honey was a palette delight . The Avocado salad was generous-enough to share. Appreciated having the vinaigrette on the side.The pitcher of Sangria ( a variety of flavors are available) came quickly The main course was a eye pleasing huge pan of paella for four, which was amazing! Enough for leftovers. We were seated upstairs in a corner which I thought was nice but the walls could use some cultural art work to go with the Gitano music that came over the speakers. A lovely delicious meal with attentive service. Highly recommended
I came to Sangria 71 on a date night, and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious. Portions were generous. The decor was nice and the seating comfortable. Lot's of tapas and drinks to chose from. Highly recommended.
I want to THANK Sangria 71 in Island Park for their incredible hospitality and warm welcome every time I visit. Most recently, after a long wait at another restaurant, my family and I decided to come here and I’m so glad we did. Not only was the food amazing as always, but the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I had my puppy with me in a stroller, and they welcomed both of us with open arms, making it such a pet-friendly experience. A special thank you to Claudio, who was managing the restaurant at the time. He was kind, supportive, and even shared his own experience with dogs, which made me feel truly connected and cared for. Our server, Abdel, was also wonderful attentive, friendly, and made our evening so enjoyable. Sangria 71 continues to be my go-to spot for family events and great memories. Thank you again for always making us feel at home!
Great tapas/ appetizers and food. I liked the atmosphere, especially where we were on the second floor. The peach sangria for 2 is best if you spend a little extra and get the pitcher. So yummy. Alberto was our server, and he was great. We were so full by the end that we skipped dessert, so I'll be back for sure for some tres leches or three milk cake!
Came to the newly opened Island Park, NY restaurant for a birthday celebration. Had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early. We were seated fairly fast. The servers didn't rush us to order. Enjoyed a pitcher of white sangria to start and then some appetizers. Food was delicious! I regret not having room for dessert. Definitely returning for drinks and dessert!

We went in on a Saturday night. We had reservations, and we were seated right away. This was my first time hearing, and I loved it. The ambiance and service were great. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.
